Wellness vs Pain Treatment

Dear friendliest friends,

Running a wellness-based company in today’s times is with utmost honesty, challenging. There are only a rare few times that I’ve been so delighted when a patient walks in through my doors telling me that they have no pain but they want to be well.

Wellness means state of optimum health. As we all know, there is no such thing as immortality and as we age, our body systems deteriorate as a cycle of life. Have you all heard of the term “aging gracefully”? I would like to quote Jules Renard, a French author, “It’s not how old you are, it’s how you are old”. Pretty much what is essential is the quality of living through time.

I cannot stress enough that maintaining a life of wellness is much more difficult to obtain than treating the symptoms of problems. Many might not know this, but when every human being is born into the world, the whole birthing process causes unnecessary strain to the baby especially the spine. Babies get yanked out from the birthing canal which causes a unnatural traction to the fragile spine. Therefore, wellness starts from the first day of a baby’s life. Prevention is better than cure. Common problems that occurs in babies that might develop if problems are not addressed are such as torticollis, colic, digestive problems, unsound sleeps, difficulty latching etc.

Most of us assume that the best indicator that the body is in trouble is through pain. What is worse is that some people accepted pain as the norm hence they suffer through the pain in life. Life is too short to be bogged down by pain. Life is meant to be enjoyed and lived well.

Mind, Body and Soul Chiropractic is established based on wellness involving active processes of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. We incorporate chiropractic, physiotherapy, active rehabilitation (pilates) and nutrition as our company structure.

We hope to serve and educate you better.

p.s: I would like to quote Hippocrates, “The natural healing force in each one of us is the greatest force in getting well”.
